Knoxville Engagement Photographer
Jeff + Gabrielle
“I look at you and see the rest of my life in front of my eyes.”
Here we are yet again, your friendly Knoxville Wedding Photographer, with another engagement session. Spring is in full swing which means so is wedding season. I am so jazzed for the season to be in full swing. Love, magnolias and honeysuckles are in the southern air.
I once again found myself in Cade’s Cove, my absolute favorite engagement session spot. It’s located within The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and it could not be more serene. I met the sweetest couple, Jeff and Gabrielle, there. Jeff is in the Air Force, and they both made the trek from Alabama. We had a great time playing in the fields and the forest!
Engagement photography is a great time to focus on your future spouse before the wedding day. Everyone says focus on the marriage and not the wedding, but let’s face it. Planning a wedding may be easier than ever thanks to technology, but some may argue that modern lifestyles are more demanding of our time than ever before. We’re constantly bombarding with ideas, demands, and well, Pinterest. We all love Pinterest, but sometimes it can be like eating at a restaurant with too many items on the menu. There’s so many choices. It can be overwhelming for the bride and groom, to say the least.
It’s so hard to step back and put things in focus. Your engagement session is a great opportunity to take a breather, and really see one another. You can make an entire day date out of it, or even a weekend getaway. You can play, laugh and enjoy your time away from work, events, and yes, wedding planning. Engagement photos may be part of the wedding, but it can be your oasis, too. Take a deep breath, and see the rest of your life.
